Vintage circa 1970's French Manufactured large sized, printed Silk Scarf after a Design by Lamotte, this being a rendition of the 'Carrousel De Saumur' which is a Military History orientated Festival in France.

Saumur is home to the National School of Horsemanship, known for its annual horse shows, as well as the Armoured Military Branch and Cavalry Training School with the annual military Carrousel taking place in July each year, as it has done for over 160 years, with displays of horse cavalry skills, historic and modern military vehicles.

The Scarf measures approximately 85 cm x 85 cm or 33.2 inches x 33.2 inches, boxed weight is 110 grams or 3.88 ounces.

In very good vintage condition the scarf is complete in original retail box along with Certificate of authenticity and could be worn as originally intended or indeed would make for a lovely wall hanging within the home or perhaps as a throw for a sofa or chair.
